Signed Pansy Thoughts Print

"Pansy Thoughts" Print

Pansies are said to represent free thought. After spending some time in a mental ward called "grief", this piece began to take shape as I was beginning to feel my personality take on a full form again. I was beginning to feel the desire and efforts to make things took less exertion. So when living into the idea of creative acts as a radically human experience leads to spitballing with textures on the page...this is what you get.

Description: This digital illustration piece features watercolor like textures in hazy pinks and purples, an illustrated woman wearing bright pink pansies, and a poem written around the perimeter of the artwork that reads:

Pondering a thousand ways,
find the flow of pattern
ruminate on limitations,
you'll reign queen
this is not betrayal,
it is freedom for a mind
Pansy, pansy dear
take your thoughts and make them things
